👫 Support Workers -
At Ivory, we work closely with families and carers of children aged 0-9 years to develop the skills children need to achieve the best possible outcomes throughout their lives.
The NDIS early childhood approach provides support for children aged 0-9 who have developmental concerns or a disability to access targeted and individualised early childhood support. We may use a key worker approach depending on the type of support required. This is the NDIA’s preferred approach and one that has the best research base behind it. A key worker is the person that your child and their family and carers will see and talk to most often. They may be any one of our specialist educators or a different professional depending on your child’s needs and goals.

Your Core supports can be provided either individually or as part of one of our focussed groups.
1:1 personalised support
Individual Services are services where you receive individual (one-on-one) support to achieve a goal or outcome in your home, the community or at your workplace. You’ll be matched with a trained and experienced support worker. You can choose when and where you will receive individual services, with activities such as personal care, social outings, transport, shopping, appointments and cooking to name a few of these options!
Group Supports
Group programs are supports where people come together in a group setting with other people who have similar goals and interests. Our Coordinators will discuss with you what you would like to achieve and how. They will then work with you to develop strategies and activities to achieve these in a fun and engaging group. Our group programs cover a wide range of options including fun and recreation, skills for life, getting ready for entering the workforce or respite. Our groups are generally built by age ranges such as teens, young people and adults and often are interest based such as gaming.
